BRUCE TRAIL’S DANCE-A-THON SCHOOL GOAL - $20 000

Your child has come home with their dance-a-thon money envelope. Our goal is that each child will try to raise $20 to help us reach our school goal of $20 000. Within the envelope are instructions on how to donate through our cashless website, students can also bring in cash or cheques.

WHY: To raise money for Bruce Trail PS to transform our library into a learning commons and to support our purchase of technology and literacy resources for the school
Bruce Trail’s School Council is hosting a Dance-A-Thon on February 14th. The purpose of this event is to raise money to support our school. Our Dance-A-Thon fundraising goal is $20 000 ~ together we can make this happen! This money will go to support our learning commons, and purchase technology and literacy resources for the school.
Incentives to Raise Money
For students who raise at least $20, they will have the opportunity to win the grand prize, 4 Seasons tickets to Canada’s Wonderland or an overnight stay for 4 to Great Wolf Lodge! For every $20 raised, the student will receive 1 grand price ticket. For every $5 raised, students will receive 3 raffle tickets to enter the draw for the classroom themed raffle baskets of their choice. There will be over 50 raffle baskets filled with arts and crafts, sports equipment, candy and chocolate and a whole lot more!
If your child raises:
$20.00 = 12 raffle tickets and 1 grand prize ticket
$40.00 =- 24 raffle tickets and 2 grand prize tickets
$50.00 =30 raffle tickets and 2 grand prize tickets
Snack Bar and Cosmic Bar
We will be hosting a snack bar with chips, candy, juice etc… and a cosmic bar with glow in the dark items. Prices and food and glow items will be sent home closer to the dance-a-thon.
